Sharon Gleasman
Sharon Gleasman: A 1977 graduate, Gleasman was a 15-time letter winner across 5-sports and was named the 1977 Female Athlete of the Year at Adirondack. Gleasman set numerous outdoor track records, started on the 1974 undefeated sectional soccer title winning team and averaged over 16 points per game on the basketball hardwood. Gleasman is also a member of the Herkimer County Community College Hall of Fame as an athlete and coach.
Robin Jenks
Robin Jenks: A 1975 graduate, Jenks was a 17-time letter winner and a multiple league all-star across 4-sports. Jenks also played on 7-league championship teams and the 1974 undefeated sectional champion soccer team. On the basketball floor, Jenks averaged over 23-points per game in her junior and senior seasons and posted a school record 44-points. Jenks went to play soccer at Ithaca College.


Bradley Meagher
Bradley Meagher: A 1975 graduate, Meagher was a 3-sport star that excelled on the baseball diamond. Over the course of his junior and senior seasons, Meagher posted a pitching record of 13-2. His single season strikeout record (115) and career strikeout record (255) have lasted 50-years. In the 1975 MLB Draft, Meagher was selected in the 12th round by the Milwaukee Brewers.
Robert Meagher
Robert Meagher: A 1971 graduate, Meagher led the famed 1971 undefeated, sectional champion basketball team in scoring and rebounding. The 1971 Intervalley League Player of the Year, Meagher scored 19-points and grabbed 13-rebounds in the sectional title game in the Utica Auditorium against Cooperstown. A rare 4-year varsity player, Meagher scored over 1,000 points in his distinguished career.


James Mihalko
James Mihalko: A Boonville High School graduate, Mihalko began his teaching career at Adirondack in 1975. A Plattsburgh State Athletic Hall of Fame member, Mihalko began the boys soccer program at Adirondack in 1990. Coaching both the boys and girls programs during his coaching tenure, Mihalko posted a career record of 263-78 and 7-league titles. Mihalko's teams were always celebrated for their exceptional sportsmanship.
Fred Morgan
Fred Morgan: Fred Morgan began his teaching career at Adirondack in the Fall of 1974 and his remarkable tenure at ACS spanned 5-decades. Morgan served Adirondack in nearly every single capacity, which included: teacher, coach, Varsity Club Advisor, Athletic Director, Assistant Principal, Principal and ultimately, Superintendent. Morgan's love for Adirondack and dedication to the ACS community was unmeasured.


Brian Shoemaker
Brian Shoemaker: A 1987 graduate, Shoemaker was a league all-star across multiple sports. On the wrestling mat, Shoemaker became Adirondack's first sectional champion (1987) while posting a career record of 70-15-1. On the track, Shoemaker was a 3x school record setter and ACS cross country course record setter as well. Following ACS. Shoemaker graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point.
Pat Thomas
Pat Thomas: Coach Thomas arrived at Adirondack in 1985 and built the 'Cats into a perennial Intervalley/Center State League power. Thomas' teams won 9-consecutive league titles, posted a 40-match league win streak and recorded a 5-year stretch of contests in which the team went 80-18. In her career, Thomas' volleyball teams won over 75% of their matches.


Kristy Williams
Kristy Williams: A 1993 graduate, Williams was a 9-time letter winner across three sports and a 3-time all-star selection in basketball. Williams and the 'Cats won 2-sectional titles and posted a record of 57-14 in her playing career. In her senior season, Williams averaged over 20-points and 18-rebounds per game. In her playing career, Williams scored over 1,000-points and grabbed over 1,000 rebounds.
Adirondack Girls Basketball Team (1990)
Adirondack Girls Basketball Team (1990): Coached by Reggie Porter and assisted by John Bernard, the 1990 team posted an overall record of 21-3 and won the Section III Class C-Title and a Regional Title to advance to the state final four. During the historic postseason run, the 'Cats outscored their opponents by an astonishing 18-points per game.

John Bernard
John Bernard (Coach): Arriving at ACS in 1972, Bernard began the Adirondack Cross Country program, as well as the invitational that is currently named after him. In a 40+ year coaching career, Bernard won 25-league titles in co-ed cross country and boy's track. Those 25-league titles are the most in school history.
Andy DeSetto
Andy DeSetto (Coach): DeSetto won sectional baseball titles at both West Leyden and Adirondack. In a 15-year span, DeSetto won 6-league titles, including his 1985 team that went undefeated in the regular season and the 1986 team that advanced to the first state title game in Adirondack history.
Mickey Fauvelle
Mickey Fauvelle (1986): Fauvelle was an All-State basketball and baseball player his senior season as the 'Cats won sectional titles in each sport. Fauvelle tallied 1,209 career points and a single season record, 663-points, on the hardwood. On the diamond, the 'Cats were 35-4 over the course of the '85 and '86 seasons.
Joe Galligan
Joe Galligan (Coach): Galligan became the ACS wrestling coach in 2003. In his 20+ year career, Galligan has won 10-league titles, 2-Section III Division II titles and 8-Class titles. He's also coached 21-sectional champions, 37-state qualifiers, 26-state place winners and 3-state champions. His 2016 team won the New York State title.
Kelly Maurer
Kelly Maurer (1992): Maurer was an 11-time letter winner and a 10-time league All-Star across three-sports. On the hardwood, Maurer is the all-time leading scorer in school history (boys and girls) with 1,704 points. In her 5-year basketball career, the 'Cats won two sectional titles and a regional title.
Derek Spann
Derek Spann (2016): Spann was a state champion wrestler in 2013 and had a career record of 218-12 in his 5-year wrestling career. He was also a two-time state runner-up and a member of the 2016 state champion wrestling team. At the University of Buffalo, Spann was a 2019 NCAA Qualifier.
Carl Trainor
Carl Trainor (Contributor): A 1975 graduate, Trainor was a 6-time letter winner in cross country and track. Returning to Boonville following college, Trainor has been a proud supporter of Adirondack programs for 45+ years. His generosity and love for his alma mater and community has been unparalleled.
Halie Tyler
Halie Tyler (2007): Tyler was a 9-time letter winner and a 7-time league all-star across 3-sports. A 4-year varsity softball starter, Tyler was a 3-time sectional champion and 3-time softball league all-star. In her senior season, Tyler was selected as the 2007 All Mohawk Valley Player of the Year.
Adirondack Wrestling 2016
Adirondack Wrestling 2016 (Team): The 2016 team was the first ACS team to claim a state title. In addition, the team won 4-Invitationals, the Center State Conference, the Section III Duals, the Section III Class C Tournament and the Section III Division II Tournament. Individually. The team set a program record with 28-dual meet wins.

Phil Fiorenza
